So a platform might look flimsy but end up being a good one? Take windows, everyone continually says it sucks, but most still use it because Microsoft understands one thing, the network effect. So whether or not windows is a good product is irrelevant, it is a good platform. So continuing with Godins' theme, just because you think its broken doesnt mean it has to be broken. And just because it is broken doesn't necessarily mean that it will do badly in the marketplace. But, to my chagrin I do have to admit that for the first time its inadvertantly clear that Google has given us an inferior product.
